Vic and Jeannine have enjoyed a lifestyle of entertaining and hospitality for many years so when Vic took early retirement from IBM after thirty years they decided to open an inn. After looking at existing Bed and Breakfasts and old Victorian houses they concluded they would have to build a replica to get what they wanted, where they wanted it.
The inn is furnished with antiques that Vic and Jeannine have collected over the past 47 years (as of 2006).
Jeannine, has creatively used her skills in decorating each nook and cranny and has made all the lampshades throughout the inn. She also enjoys counted cross-stitch.She is also actively engaged as the Queen Mother of the Amadorables Red Hat group.
Vic's hobbies include stained glass, gold prospecting, Model-T Ford maintenance, computers (IBM compatibles, of course) and the Internet, buying/selling on Ebay.
Both enjoy travel and staying in other B&B's. |
